Dr. Maciej Kowalski

Dr. Maciej Kowalski has been practicing in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley since 2005, and moved to the area in 1991. He finished his undergraduate work with a degree in Biology at the University of California, Irvine, then proceeded to get his doctor of optometry degree from UC Berkeley. He has completed his residency in retinal disease at West Los Angeles VA Hospital. He is a founding member of the European Academy of Optometry, and lectures abroad at a university in Poland on the subject of corneal disease and contact lenses.

He is married to his wonderful wife Ami, who is an 8th grade science teacher in Murrieta. They both enjoy spending time with family, cycling, triathlons, and being involved in their church and community. Dr Kowalski works with the Lions club in the collection of used glasses to be distributed during missions around the world.

Ms. Maria Chavez

Maria Chavez has been an outstanding optician for 6 years. She has been involved in the optical field since 2004 and is currently pursuing her American Board of Opticianry License. Maria enjoys the personal interaction that her job provides and finds it a very rewarding experience. She is fluent in Spanish and has a little boy that she loves spending time with. Maria is excellent at helping you pick out frames that are a perfect fit for your face and look.

Mrs. Amy Pelak ABO Certified

Amy has been involved in the Optical Industry since 1996. Since then she has been a Sales Representative for an eyewear manufacturer and before coming to our office was an Optometric Office Manager for 13 years. Amy enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and their families. Her goal with each patient is to make sure they are seeing the best they can. Crisp, clear vision is a priority as well as making sure each patient is fit with a frame that is not only proper fitting but also suitable to their lifestyle. Outside of work she enjoys spending time in the outdoors whether at an R/C Car Track, Dirt Bike Track or watching Formula 1 with her husband Dustin and 2 sons Montana and Austin.

Ms. Rayna Lewis

Rayna is currently a junior at Cal State San Marcos majoring in Communications and is expecting to graduate in the spring of 2012. She is in the midst of planning her summer wedding. Rayna has been with the office for over a year and is excited to learn more. She personally enjoys helping patient’s look and feel their best! Rayna takes pride in keeping up on the latest trends in fashion and now eyewear. It is her personal goal that patients leave our office knowing they are appreciated and looking fantastic!
