Dr. Maciej Kowalski
Dr. Maciej Kowalski has been practicing in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley since 2005, initially moved to the area in 1991 and graduated from MVHS in 1995. He finished his undergraduate studies with a degree in Biology at the University of California, Irvine, then proceeded to get his doctor of optometry degree from University of California, Berkeley. He has completed his residency in retinal disease/geriatrics at West Los Angeles VA Hospital and was a founding member of the European Academy of Optometry while lecturing abroad at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland on the subject of corneal disease and contact lenses.
He is married to his wonderful wife Ami, who is a high school science teacher in Murrieta. They both enjoy spending time with family while raising their four kids, and being involved in their church and community. Dr Kowalski works with the Lions club in the collection of used glasses to be distributed during missions around the world.
